brown != black

once the hair dye was applied, my hair looked ink black. creepy even. i loved it. but upon washing my hair out with water, my hair is now a few shades darker brown. this cannot be allowed. my hair is to be black, i have deemed it so. therefore, it will be dyed again this afternoon. charcoal and oil will be used tomorrow if need be. damnit.
