and on the train i saw a deer carcass

well, i was on the train, and the carcass was on the ground outside, nested amongst the snow. it was actually quite hard to identify. overall, the train ride was fun, something i could reccomend to anyone that likes looking at landscapes. no complaints thus far. grand junction looks to be a nice enough place, and this hotel is nicer than the last. too bad we leave tomorrow morning. the highlight of tomorrow should be a dip in a hot mineral springs. this is my first solid chance to injure myself people. place your bets.
