and so i defy fate once more

first of all, sorry for not posting yesterday. a combination of a very poor wireless setup at the resort and the fact that not much of note happened yesterday led to no post. hit me with blunt objects later.

now... today i got on the snowboard. and for the record, those things are merceless. it doesn't care how much hell it drags you through, it is going to stay firmly attached to your feet. despite going end of end in a couple of spills, i picked up the basics pretty nicely. my right wrist and right hip are kinda sore, and i'll be taking it easy tomorrow to let them heal. but i survived. so NAH! to all those with bets still out, don't worry, there are still several more life threatening days to come, and no telling what silly way i can create to cause myself injury. perhaps i will be drug under a sleigh tomorrow night. it's possible.
